(NIV)<br /><br />Much has been made of the power of faith in recent years especially in charismatic circles. They have begun to teach that faith is a force that we control and that we through faith have creative power ourselves. This is not what scripture teaches. Faith is not a force to be manipulated but, rather, a gift to enable us to see into the spiritual realm. Faith is like night vision goggles.
